Guidance for the Consecration:
- Refrain from meat, dairy, and sugar.
- Scriptural Inspiration: “I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled” - Daniel 10:3
Allowed Foods
Foods to include in your diet during the consecration – Items grown from seed:
Vegetables:
- Asparagus, beets, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, corn, kale, green beans, greens, lettuce, onions, peppers, potatoes, spinach, squash, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, turnips, yams, zucchini, and more.
Fruits:
- Apples, apricots, avocados, bananas, berries, coconuts, oranges, pears, plums, tangerines, melons, figs, dates, cherries, grapefruit, grapes, guava, honeydew, lemons, limes, mangoes, nectarines, prunes, raisins, and more.
Nuts and Seeds:
- Almonds, seeds, cashews, sesame, walnuts, nut butter.
Whole Grains and Legumes:
- Barley, brown rice, oats, quinoa, beans, chickpeas, grits, lentils, peas, whole wheat, and more.
Healthy Liquid Oils and Additives:
- Grapeseed oil, seed oils, olive oil, peanut oil, salt, pepper, honey, soy products, and garlic.
Beverages:
- Water, 100% juices (no added sugar), green tea.
Foods to Avoid
- All meat and animal products: Including beef, lamb, pork, poultry, and fish.
- All dairy products: Including milk, cream, and eggs.
- All sweeteners: Such as sugar, syrups, molasses, cane juice, and artificial sweeteners.
- All refined and processed food products: Including white rice, white flour, and foods with artificial preservatives.
- All deep-fried foods: Including potato chips, french fries, and corn chips.
